Concert Number Three: Songs of Our Lands

March 13 at Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights, KY
The new concert is of art songs, but in unfamiliar languages to the most of our audience – Malay, Tamil, Korean, and Singlish! But these languages are in the hearts of the two performers: Singaporean soprano Janani Sridhar and Korean pianist Yeon-Kyung Kim. The tuneful melodies will be delivered to you with the best imagination and nuance possible. Glow Music also commissioned Nicholas Ho, a Singaporean pianist and composer who studied at CCM, to compose a set of songs in Singlish!
